Job summary

Bios Life is seeking a Director, Biomarker Platform to lead the strategy, development, and evolution of our Clinical and Research Biomarker platforms. This role spans cancer biology, biomarker science, AI, clinical medicine, and product development.

The Director will architect the biomarker strategy, prioritize biomarkers across modalities, and interface with Medical, AI, and Product teams to translate evidence into clinical and translational opportunities, shaping future disease surveillance

Qualifications

Advanced training in cancer biology or translational medicine (PhD/MD).
Demonstrated experience in biomarker discovery, development, and translation in oncology.
Strong ability to evaluate scientific evidence and prioritize opportunities across multi-modal data.
Experience collaborating with Medical, AI/Data Science, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the Biomarker Platform Strategy and portfolio prioritization across clinical, research, and product endpoints.
Oversee identification, evaluation, and prioritization of multi-modal biomarkers (transcriptomics, proteomics, ctDNA, fragmentomics).
Partner with AI/Data Science to define requirements for multi-omics biomarker models.
Communicate rationale, evidence, and uncertainties to senior leadership.
Drive external collaborations and partnerships to strengthen capabilities.
