Job summary
BeOne Medicines Ltd. in San Carlos seeks a Director of Biomarkers and Companion Diagnostics to provide scientific and strategic leadership across the clinical pipeline, translating biomarker science into patient selection and precision medicine.
The role leads cross-functional teams, partners with external collaborators, develops biomarker strategies, evaluates novel platforms, and guides protocol development, study budgets, and timelines in a fast-paced, global biotech environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD) in a clinical or scientific discipline.
- 7+ years in biotech/pharma with 3+ years in biomarker research/strategy.
- Deep expertise in clinical biomarkers and translational research.
- Experience with CDx development and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of biomarker strategies.
- Assess novel biomarker platforms and translational approaches.
- Support clinical protocol development and biomarker endpoints.
- KOL and collaborator engagement for biomarker development.
