Job summary
Biogen is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Biomarkers Lead to drive comprehensive biomarker strategies across immunology and neuromuscular programs. The role includes oversight of biomarker development, data generation and interpretation, and mentorship of the biomarker team within a hybrid San Francisco setting.
Collaboration with research, regulatory, medical affairs, and external partners is essential.
Qualifications
- PhD with 10+ years in industry and biomarker leadership.
- Experience leading/implementing clinical biomarker strategies in immune-mediated diseases.
- Strong communication, manuscript/reports and regulator interactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive biomarker strategies for clinical programs.
- Drive generation, analysis, and interpretation of biomarker data in studies.
- Provide mentorship on biomarker strategy development and implementation.
- Coordinate biomarker activities across research, clinical development, regulatory, and medical affairs.
- Manage external collaborators and CROs for assay development and outsourced projects.
- Author/review clinical protocols, medical affairs, and regulatory documents.
