Job summary
BeOne Medicines in California seeks a Director of Clinical Biomarkers to lead biomarker strategies across the clinical pipeline, partnering with cross-functional teams, collaborators, and vendors.
You will translate emerging biomarker science into actionable plans for patient selection and precision medicine, with expertise in biomarker platforms and translational research to influence program strategy at a global scale.
Qualifications
- PhD in a life science field or equivalent.
- 7+ years in biotech/pharma with 3+ years in biomarker R&D or strategy.
- Deep biomarker expertise in translational research, preferably hematology/oncology/immunology; AML preferred.
- Ability to develop and lead biomarker strategies informing development.
- Knowledge of CDx development and regulatory requirements.
- Experience evaluating novel biomarker technologies.
- Proven ability to influence across cross-functional and global teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement biomarker strategies.
- Assess novel biomarker platforms.
- Support clinical protocol development.
- KOL & collaborator engagement for biomarkers development.
- Build relationships with internal and external experts.
- Identify continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Develop, track, execute and report on goals and objectives.
- Support budget planning and management.
- Be accountable for compliant business practices.
