Job summary

Ford Energy in the United States seeks a Director of Project Delivery to build and scale the post-contract execution and delivery function for renewable energy projects. You will design governance, lead a team of PMs, and act as the executive interface with customers during deployment.

The role emphasizes establishing standardized post-contract processes, KPI-driven portfolio governance, and collaboration with IT to deploy advanced PM tools across a diverse BESS portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of program management, project delivery, or PMO experience, with a proven track record of executing large-scale utility, infrastructure, or energy projects.
• 5+ years of experience directly managing, building, and mentoring high-performing project management teams.
• Strong background in post-contract execution, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) workflows, contract management, and utility-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Establish Execution Frameworks: design, implement, and continuously improve standardized post-contract PMO processes, playbooks, stage-gate reviews, and delivery methodologies for BESS/renewables.
• Portfolio Governance: define and track KPIs for project health, delivery efficiency, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Tools & Systems: interface with IT leadership to build and deploy advanced program management tools and reporting systems across the portfolio.
• Build & Lead the Team: recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of project managers and execution specialists.
• Resource Allocation: strategically assign resources across the portfolio to optimize delivery.
• Professional Development: foster a culture of execution excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
