LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Benefits Manager to design, run, and improve the health, wellness, and financial benefits programs for a distributed workforce. You will own strategy, vendor relationships, and compliance, guiding decisions with data and cross-functional partners.

The role is senior, highly independent, and focuses on cost-effectiveness, global offerings, and employee experience across time zones. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive benefits experience with renewals and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of US benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
• Ability to analyze plan data and model costs for stakeholders.
• Experience with HRIS/benefits systems and carrier integrations.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication for executives.
• Independent worker with distributed team experience.

Responsibilities

• Own benefits strategy and roadmap for medical to international offerings.
• Lead annual renewal, open enrollment, and cost modeling.
• Manage broker, carrier, PEO/EOR, and third-party relationships.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting and spend forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA.
• Administer benefits tech stack and data accuracy.
• Design clear benefits communications for employees.
• Evaluate benefits for new geographies and acquisitions.
