Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Benefits Manager to lead health, wellness, and financial benefits for a distributed US workforce. You will own strategy, manage carriers and vendors, and ensure compliant, cost-effective programs, partnering with Finance, Legal, and IT.

You will design and run renewals, enrollments, and global benefits reviews, advancing experience and data-driven decisions for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive benefits experience including renewals and vendor management.
• Deep knowledge of US benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
• Experience with benefits platforms and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Rippling).
• Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills with cost/quality impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own benefits strategy, roadmap, and vendor relationships.
• Lead annual renewal, design analysis, funding, and open enrollment.
• Forecast, budget, and report benefits spend with Finance.
• Ensure ACA/ERISA/HIPAA/COBRA/FMLA compliance and audits.
• Administer and optimize benefits tech, integrations, and data.
