Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Director of Operations - Anesthesia to lead enterprise-wide program management and standardize operational processes across the anesthesia service line. The role oversees new programs, staffing onboarding, and portfolio management in collaboration with anesthesia leadership and HR.

The position requires experience in large-scale healthcare operations, PMP certification is preferred, and a master’s degree in business or healthcare administration is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or business-related field required.
• Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.
• Five to eight years’ management experience required, ideally in a hospital setting with multiple locations or health systems.
• Anesthesia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities related to new program operations and implementation.
• Collaborate with Anesthesia Leadership and HR to onboard staff and manage lifecycle activities from recruitment to evaluation.
• Create, manage, and oversee Anesthesia project portfolio and all program requests.
• Manage approval processes through the executive team and oversee portfolio performance.
• Develop executive summary communications and presentations for clinical and business operations.
• Facilitate anesthesia committees to ensure coordination among stakeholders.
• Support growth initiatives and coordinate with management for physician placement and development.
