Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an enterprise leader to oversee anesthesia services across 12 acute care hospitals, multiple ASCs, and office-based locations. You will align clinical excellence with financial sustainability, drive strategy, growth, and program success, and partner with executive, perioperative, and ambulatory leaders to optimize performance.

This senior role requires proven healthcare operations leadership, the ability to influence physicians, and a track record of performance

Qualifications

• Senior-level management experience in healthcare operations or a dedicated service line (Anesthesia)
• Demonstrated ability to lead physicians and influence clinical leaders
• Experience identifying performance improvement opportunities and balancing growth with quality

Responsibilities

• Direct system anesthesia strategy across hospitals, ASCs, and ambulatory sites
• Establish collaborative relationships with executives and perioperative leaders
• Leverage system scale to expand services and optimize resource allocation
• Advise on site optimization and efficiency improvements in acute and ambulatory settings
• Evaluate external partnerships to drive growth and performance
