Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Director, AML/CFT Governance, Quality Control, and Reporting to lead governance, quality control, and reporting activities within the Financial Crimes Compliance program. You will partner with risk, legal, internal audit, and operations to ensure compliance with BSA/AML laws, regulatory guidance, and internal policies while strengthening the control environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive AML/CFT experience in a regulated financial industry.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing people, projects, or complex compliance program activities.
• Experience leading governance, quality control, reporting, and remediation programs; strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance, oversight, and coordination for AML/CFT governance framework and committees.
• Lead day-to-day execution of the Quality Control program and associated risk assessments and trainings.
• Develop and deliver management reporting, dashboards, KRIs/KPIs, and regulatory communications.
• Coach and develop team members to meet department objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with risk, legal, internal audit, and business lines to strengthen program maturity and control effectiveness.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, and remediation activities.
