Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Manager, Quality Control to lead the QC function across BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations. This role preserves independence from production and reports to the Director, Quality Control, guiding a team of QC Analysts and Leads.

The position involves designing sampling, applying a validated error taxonomy, and surfacing gaps to governance. Remote/hybrid work is available with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6–9 years of BSA/AML experience including QA/QC or independent testing.
• Experience designing sampling methodologies and error taxonomies in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate QC day-to-day across all review populations while maintaining independence from production disposition.
• Apply and maintain sampling methodology and recommend refinements based on results.
• Apply error taxonomy (critical, significant, administrative) and manage escalation/re-work rules.
• Lead QC Lead and QC Analysts; run monthly calibration with documented outcomes.
• Compile QC results and trends for governance and close out effective-challenge items.
