Job summary

Sun Chemical seeks a Director of AI Transformation & Intelligent Business Enablement to lead enterprise AI strategy, translating AI capability into measurable business value across commercial, manufacturing, and functional teams.

This role bridges strategy and execution—identifying high-value opportunities, defining governance, and scaling AI initiatives across a global, matrixed organization to enhance planning, decision-making, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record building/scaling AI or data analytics CoE and enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
• Strong business acumen translating AI capability into value propositions.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations and cross-cultural dynamics.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI frameworks.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI transformation roadmap and prioritize use cases by value, feasibility, and risk.
• Lead a federated AI Center of Excellence (CoE) with central governance and embedded BU ownership.
• Partner with leaders to quantify AI opportunities for revenue growth, margin, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Assess workforce impacts, redesign processes, and develop future-state skills.
• Develop AI governance including model risk, data privacy, ethics, and regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with legal, privacy, IT, security to address AI risks.
• Lead cross-functional pilots and scale initiatives enterprise-wide.
• Deliver AI literacy programs for varying levels of technical fluency.
• Build business case, ROI tracking, and value realization with KPIs and reporting.
• Navigate AI strategy across Sun Chemical and DIC matrix, considering cultural/regulatory differences.
• Stay ahead of AI capabilities and evaluate build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for enterprise tools.
• Act as advisor and change agent guiding organizational, cultural shifts.
