Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking a Director, AI Transformation & Intelligent Business Enablement to drive the company's enterprise AI agenda, translating AI capabilities into measurable business value across commercial, manufacturing, and functional teams.

The role bridges strategy and execution, building an operating model, governance, and a federated CoE to scale AI with strong governance, accountability, and stakeholder engagement across a global matrixed organization.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in business/strategy transformation or technology leadership.
3+ years owning direct AI/ML or advanced analytics programs.
Proven success building/scaling AI Centers of Excellence and enterprise-wide AI transformation.
Strong business acumen translating AI into commercial/value propositions.
Experience in global, matrixed organizations; cross-cultural stakeholder dynamics.
Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI frameworks.
Experience leading transformation initiatives and executive communication.

Responsibilities

Define and own the enterprise AI transformation roadmap, prioritizing use cases by value and feasibility.
Lead federated AI Center of Excellence with central governance and embedded business ownership.
Partner with leaders to quantify opportunities for revenue, margins, productivity and risk reduction via AI.
Assess workforce impacts and redesign processes for future-state skills and capability needs.
Develop AI governance framework, model risk, data privacy, and regulatory alignment.
