Job summary

Edward Jones seeks a Director, AI Product Manager – AI Product Frameworks to lead end-to-end development of AI platform capabilities that support AI Product Managers across the firm, from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization. Translate business needs into actionable requirements and define success metrics.

This role treats AI as the product, coordinating with EJ Labs, Engineering, Data, and Business units to deliver reusable, model-driven capabilities while ensuring responsible AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, product management or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in product management translating business needs into technical requirements.
• 3+ years' experience in AI/ML.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and financial services.
• Responsible AI practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
• User experience (UX) principles and their integration into product AI capability design.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements for AI Products models and agents - reusable AI capabilities.
• Lead product discovery, validation, and iterative improvement processes with a focus on how AI models and agents will be embedded across many applications, tools, and internal teams.
• Define and track product success metrics specific to AI model and agent performance, reusability, adoption, and ongoing monitoring.
• Conduct research and engage internal customers to inform AI platform capabilities.
• Ensure responsible AI practices and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive the development and delivery of AI models, ensuring that capabilities are not one‑off builds, but reusable, model driven products deployed across the organization.
