Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Director, AI Product Manager - AI Controls & Observability to lead end-to-end development of AI platform capabilities across the firm. This role treats AI as the product, shaping strategy, discovery, and value framing, collaborating with EJ Labs, Engineering, Data and business areas to deliver reusable, model‑driven AI capabilities.

Qualifications

7-10+ years’ experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
Experience leading product discovery and validation for AI platforms.
Strong understanding of responsible AI, regulatory requirements, and governance.
Ability to define success metrics and drive adoption of reusable AI capabilities.
Financial services domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for AI products and reusable capabilities.
Lead product discovery, validation, and iterative improvement for AI controls and observability.
Define and track product success metrics for AI platform performance and adoption.
Collaborate with EJ Labs, Engineering, Data, Product Management, Experience, and business teams.
Ensure responsible AI practices and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders across the firm.
