Job summary

Oasis Health Partners is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead and scale our AI-native provider enablement platform. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic leadership, partnering with Product, Data Engineering, and Security to deliver high-impact, compliant software for value-based care.

You will spend substantial time architecting, coding, and building a lean, high-leverage team, while ensuring reliability, security, and meaningful business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role (player-coach strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of building and delivering production systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Software Engineering on architecture and technology strategy, while staying hands-on in design and code reviews.
• Evolve platform architecture, manage technical debt, and set standards balancing scalability, security, maintainability, delivery speed, and cost.
• Own reliability, security, and operation of the AWS-based platform, with CI/CD, IaC, QA automation, monitoring, and incident response.
