Job summary

DeepHealth seeks a Director of Software Development Engineering to lead the engineering organization responsible for building and scaling its platform and products in health tech. You will drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering excellence across multiple teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership
Proven track record building and scaling distributed systems
Deep expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and modern DevOps/CI-CD practices
Ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

Define and drive the multi-year engineering vision, roadmap, and platform strategy.
Lead architecture and design decisions for complex, distributed systems with focus on scalability, reliability and security.
Own accountability for engineering delivery, uptime, and debt management.
Partner with Product Management to define and execute the product roadmap.
Drive agile delivery across teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Clinical, Data Science, and Design teams to shape patient-centered solutions.
Establish engineering KPIs/OKRs and governance.
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
