Job summary

Embedded across Sales, Sourcing, Privacy, and Corporate Development, the role acts as a go-to expert for issues unique to GPU compute and AI workloads.

The attorney partners with practice leads to balance deal velocity with regulatory risk, and guides playbooks and templates for standard terms.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar (in good standing).
• 8+ years of post-bar commercial/transactional experience, including tech/cloud/data infra.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and IaaS/SaaS contracting.
• Familiarity with EAR/BIS/RASA export controls and data privacy for AI.
• Ability to operate as a cross-functional SME without direct management authority.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication; independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary commercial counsel for GPU-as-a-service, AI infra offerings; draft/negotiate SAs, MSAs, and order forms with customers and partners.
• Advise on regulatory risk, export controls, data sovereignty, and AI-specific issues; partner with privacy teams.
• Support M&A, partnerships, and diligence with the VP & Deputy GC on deals and integrations.
• Provide internal SME leadership on GPU/neocloud landscape; develop playbooks, templates, and self-service tools.
