Humana Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an Associate Director of AI Enablement to lead the AI Delivery platform across multiple tracks, emphasizing governance, reuse, uptime, and regulatory defensibility in HIPAA-regulated contexts.

You will drive enterprise change, support agile and DevOps practices, and mentor engineering teams while advancing LLM-based solutions and agent frameworks across the organization.

Qualifications

• Leadership of engineers and multi-squad teams across tracks.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled platforms with governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Hands-on credibility in architecture, reviews, and prototyping.
• Familiarity with cloud, IaC, Kubernetes, and DevOps trends.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA) and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture decisions, ADRs, and agent design specs and author when needed.
• Prototype in agent harness with sub-agent definitions and tool integrations.
• Read traces, evaluate eval-harness output, and debug agent behavior with engineers.
• Contribute to reference implementations forFactory PODs to pattern from.
• Participate in design reviews as an active contributor, not just an observer.
