Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Director, Planning & Portfolio Management to lead enterprise portfolio governance and operational excellence across Tempo, EOS, Jira, and Databricks. You will drive AI-enabled reporting, establish standards, and partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Catalyst to ensure reliable execution and informed executive decisions.

A distributed team requires strong leadership and strategic oversight.

Qualifications

10+ years of portfolio management or program management experience.
5+ years of management experience leading teams and multi-disciplinary functions.
Strong financial acumen with capitalization, CapEx tracking, FP&A experience.
Experience with AI, automation, and enterprise tooling for governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Planning & Portfolio department's core governance infrastructure.
Drive AI and modern work tools to improve reporting and insight quality.
Own quarterly and annual planning, intake, prioritization, and roadmap governance.
Ensure accurate, timely portfolio data across Tempo, EOS, Jira, Databricks.
Oversee weekly, monthly, and quarterly portfolio rollups for exec reporting.
Establish data integrity standards and actionable planning artifacts.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and other leaders to enable decisions.
Develop portfolio governance mechanisms for senior leadership visibility.
Evolve tooling, automation, and AI-enabled knowledge systems for scalability.
Coach a geographically distributed team and manage staffing and budgeting.
Serve as escalation point for data issues, gaps, and governance challenges.
