Job summary

Cozen O'Connor seeks a Director of Legal AI & Practice Transformation to guide the firm's AI-driven legal processes and modernization efforts. You will identify, design, and scale AI solutions that improve operations and client service, moving from pilots to sustainable, embedded capabilities across practice groups.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will collaborate with lawyers, risk, and IT to ensure adoption and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of how legal work is performed in practice.
• Systems and process thinking with operational rigor.
• Experience owning products or workflows from conception to scale.
• Fluency with AI-enabled workflows and automation technologies.
• Ability to build credibility across legal, business, and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the firm’s legal AI and practice transformation strategy.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team focused on legal AI and workflow innovation.
• Collaborate with lawyers, clients, and business teams to identify value-driving AI use cases.
• Redesign workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and client value.
• Establish governance, metrics, and adoption strategies for AI initiatives.
