Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for the Private Equity Performance Improvement AI team (CTO Domain). You will lead AI‑driven value creation across portfolio companies, owning scope, planning, client relationships, and financial outcomes end‑to‑end.

You will drive AI governance, SDLC transformations, and engineering platform improvements, translating complex technical insights into PE‑level financial impact.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in software engineering leadership or engineering transformation.
• Proven track record leading multi‑workstream engineering programs with measurable outcomes.
• Hands‑on operating experience with engineering teams and SDLC programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI‑driven value creation engagements across the PE lifecycle.
• Own scope, workplan, client relationships, and financial outcomes end‑to‑end.
• Govern AI-tooling rollouts and SDLC transformations at scale.
• Translate engineering findings into financial narratives for PE audiences.
