Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an AI Developer to design, build and support practical AI-enabled solutions across enterprise technology use cases. The role blends software engineering, GenAI development and responsible AI delivery, collaborating with security and business teams to drive productivity and automation.

The candidate will design AI-powered applications, leverage LLMs, and develop Python services and APIs, contributing to secure engineering practices and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software development, preferably with Python and one or more additional languages.
• Understanding of SDLC, source control, automated testing and code review standards.
• Working knowledge of Large Language Models and prompt design.
• Experience building or integrating APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support AI-powered applications, agents and workflows.
• Build Generative AI solutions using LLMs and enterprise data sources.
• Develop Python services, APIs, integrations and reusable components.
• Participate in full Software Delivery lifecycle from design to deployment.
