Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Director to lead strategy and execution for a global compliance data analytics program within the Legal department in Washington, DC. You will manage the Compliance Analytics & Enablement team and partner with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable risk insights.

You will design and advance AI-driven compliance initiatives, oversee scalable data infra, and drive multi-year roadmaps for proactive risk detection, reporting to senior leaders and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years in similar roles with 5+ years in Legal/Compliance/Audit in a large tech company or similar.
• Experience with AI-coding capability to prototype solutions quickly and oversee data science workflows.
• Understanding regulatory benchmarks for compliance (DOJ, COSO) and data-driven compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and test an AI-native compliant program and integrate data sources with development teams.
• Lead compliance data analytics strategy and multi-year roadmaps; enable AI/ML-enabled risk detection.
• Oversee automated monitoring systems for enterprise risk, ethics, and regulatory areas.
• Build data-centric culture to inform business and compliance decisions and board-level reporting.
• Manage the Compliance Analytics & Enablement team and partner with Legal and business units.
