Job summary

Cisco is seeking a senior leader to drive the compliance data analytics program. You will lead a global team to transform disparate data into actionable insights that detect and mitigate regulatory risks. You will partner with Legal, IT, and risk teams to operationalize AI-native solutions and build scalable roadmaps.

You will oversee end-to-end data workflows, defining governance and analytics maturity while delivering board-level insights and proactive risk detection using AI/ML techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in similar roles.
• At least 5 years within a Legal, Compliance, or Audit function of a large technology company or similar industry.
• AI-coding capability to prototype solutions quickly.
• Strong skills and familiarity with cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake.
• Familiarity with BI tools including Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience overseeing data science workflows.
• Track record of overcoming challenges and solving issues from incomplete or imperfect data sets.
• Understanding of U.S. DOJ Sentencing Guidelines for Effective Compliance Programs, COSO, and related data-driven compliance expectations.
• Ability to lead and manage complex projects.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills for business and legal audiences.
• CCEP or CFE certification preferred
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or data analytics, or Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or equivalent experience and/or training in compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution at scale for Cisco’s global compliance data analytics program
• Transform data into actionable insights to identify, mitigate, and monitor legal and regulatory risks
• Serve as direct manager for the Compliance Analytics & Enablement team
• Collaborate with senior partners to design and test an AI-native compliance program
• Work with the development team to integrate data sources and operationalize the program
• Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps for compliance data analytics strategy and model maturity
• Deliver proactive and AI/ML-enabled risk detection and insights
• Oversee development of automated monitoring systems for enterprise risk compliance, ethics, and regulatory focus areas
• Lead efforts to build a data-centric culture informing business and compliance decisions and responses
• Build early warning systems for compliance risks
• Design and deliver high-impact, data-backed compliance program insights at Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Board levels
• Partner with Legal and functional teams across Cisco to drive compliance and impact
