Job summary

Acelegen Technology in Palo Alto / Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development to lead strategic collaborations with AI companies, biotech organizations, and research institutions. You will report to the CEO, shape partnership strategy, and drive high-impact deals that translate scientific advances into commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
8+ years in business development, partnerships, or related roles.
Proven success in AI/biotech partnerships or similar tech industries.
Strong executive-level relationship management capabilities.
Experience negotiating complex partnership agreements and deals.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with AI and biotech leaders.
Build executive relationships with CEOs, scientists, and senior decision-makers.
Develop partnership strategies aligned with Acelegen's roadmap and objectives.
Lead deal lifecycle from outreach to contract execution and implementation.
Collaborate with CEO and R&D to translate capabilities into proposals.
Represent Acelegen at industry events and partner meetings.
