Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, seeks a Director to lead Neural Nexus – Agentic AI Business Solutions across Field. You will shape strategy, oversee execution, and drive adoption of Generative AI, analytics, and automation to improve field effectiveness and decision-making.

In this role you will partner with Field Leadership, Commercial, Digital, Data, and Technology teams, define success metrics, ensure value delivery, and manage change across the organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with 4+ years analytics/GenAI leadership.
• Master's with 8+ years analytics/GenAI leadership.
• Bachelor's with 10+ years analytics/GenAI leadership plus 4 yrs people management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for high-impact field AI initiatives and measure business value.
• Lead collaboration across Field Leadership, Commercial, BAI, Digital, Data, and Technology.
• Advise Field Leadership on AI strategy and communicate progress and risks.
• Drive adoption of AI capabilities by embedding into field workflows.
• Lead change management and training for new tools.
