Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking an Associate Director, Affordable Housing to oversee a portfolio of affordable supportive housing properties. The role requires building a skilled on-site team, managing property operations and ensuring financial performance in line with VOA Colorado’s mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in multi-site operations.
• Five years of multi-site supportive housing management experience.
• Strong knowledge of housing development, property management and financing (HUD, Bond, Tax Credit).
• Administrative self-sufficiency and ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to manage budgets, leasing, compliance and resident services.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise on-site property management personnel.
• Manage properties with site-specific knowledge and best management practices.
• Oversee budgets, monthly financial statements, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with housing codes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement safety and emergency plans; ensure regulatory compliance.
