Job summary

GroundWork Renewables is seeking an experienced Director of Advisory Services to lead technical due diligence and advisory services for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will work closely with the Advisory Team, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver high‑quality, finance-ready insights.

You will mentor others, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and help steer strategic decisions while maintaining strong client partnerships and ensuring project success across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in the energy industry with 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience delivering owner’s or independent engineering services.
• Technical knowledge across solar and storage technologies and project development lifecycle.
• Willingness to travel ~10–25% to client sites and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive technical due diligence efforts from initiation to project completion.
• Build and maintain client relationships as a strategic partner through financing processes.
• Guide multidisciplinary internal teams with clear direction and oversight.
• Develop high‑quality, defensible, finance‑ready deliverables on schedule.
• Provide market insight to anticipate industry shifts and guide strategy.
