Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables seeks a Sr. Director of Electrical Engineering to guide long-term system design and select technologies for solar and BESS projects across the US. You will lead interactions with Delivery and Development Engineering and review engineering contracts from an NTP/IPP perspective.

The role blends high-level technical leadership with pricing insight, requires broad utility-scale expertise, and supports a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team across CS, DG, and utility-scale programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
• Experience with CS, DG and utility-scale design cycles from concept to energization.
• Experience with 345kV transmission level IX design is highly desirable.
• Ability to stamp IX & construction sets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee early-stage pricing and collaborate with Preconstruction.
• Review and interpret NTP, Offtake, and IPP contracts from an engineering view.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Development Engineering, and other leads.
• Maintain familiarity with utility-scale solar products and specs.
• Provide senior engineering support on large projects including IX design and interconnection coordination.
• Finalize specifications for Transformer, Inverter, Racking, Switchgear, and related components.
• Ensure alignment of design direction with monetization paths and AVL.
