Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in L&D or equivalent leadership experience.
• Master's/MBA with 10+ years in L&D leadership.
• PhD with 8+ years in governance or capable development leadership.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Advanced Capabilities, Commercial L&D to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader is looking for a strategic L&D professional to shape enterprise learning governance and scalable capability models that support commercial teams across the business. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, Learning Operations, and cross-functional leaders to prioritize initiatives, secure resources, and drive adoption. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of instructional design, project leadership, and measurement expertise to improve business acumen, performance support, and long-term capability building.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $191,250 – $247,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Govern learning and development processes and build scalable models for multiple business units
• Lead cross-functional teams to align priorities and secure resources for capability initiatives

• Ability to balance immediate business needs with long-term priorities
