Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Director for its in-house Architecture, Design & Construction Full Service team, based in Memphis or McLean or remote. Lead design and construction for new development, conversions, and brand changes across North America, with travel up to 50%.

You will guide owners, review site plans, provide programming feasibility, and ensure adherence to Hilton standards. This role requires senior-level expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ten years in hospitality architecture, design, construction, or hotel development.
• Seven years leading complex hospitality developments from design through completion.
• Interpret and evaluate building codes, life safety requirements, architectural drawings, engineering plans, specs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or Construction related field.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical guidance and enforce design and construction standards with owners while building trusted relationships with ownership groups and stakeholders.
• Review site plans for proposed new hotels to evaluate feasibility and site program alignment with Hilton standards.
• Provide hotel programming guidance and feasibility analysis for development projects.
• Review construction documents to ensure projects follow Hilton requirements.
• Conduct on-site construction inspections for each hotel addressing non-compliance issues.
