Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Director of Design & Construction to join our Americas Design Team. You will oversee hotel projects, advise owners and consultants, and drive forward-thinking initiatives to evolve Hyatt’s brand standards across the Americas.

You will lead reviews, ensure compliance with brand guidelines, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver openings that meet Hyatt’s quality expectations while traveling approximately 30–40% across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience focusing on design and/or construction for hotel brands.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior architecture or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project reviews with architects, contractors and consultants through the design & construction process.
• Ensure adherence to Hyatt’s brand components, design documents and standards across all phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and owners to guide projects to successful completion.
