Job summary
Pacific Life seeks a Director & Actuary to lead pricing product design within the Institutional Pricing team. The role is on-site 4 days a week with one remote day, based in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC with relocation assistance if needed.
You will price new product rollouts in the DCLI market and shape pricing governance across functions. You will manage pricing initiatives, partner with Product to develop and price new offerings, and stay ahead of regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 8+ years actuarial experience (including management)
- Ability to research and generate creative pricing solutions
- Strong communication to present to cross-functional partners
- Ability to lead multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Interest in mentoring others
Responsibilities
- Lead pricing initiatives for DCLI Institutional products and oversee pricing activities
- Partner with Product to price new and existing products and support implementation
- Stay current with regulatory changes impacting pricing and risk management
- Ensure pricing adheres to guidelines and governance standards and obtain approvals
- Collaborate with product, investment management, valuation, risk management, legal, and operations
