Pacific Life Insurance Company is seeking a Director & Actuary to lead the Institutional Pricing team, shaping pricing for DCLI products. This on-site role supports multiple offices with relocation assistance as needed.

You will drive pricing strategy, partner with Product, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a pricing team, balancing profitability with risk for new product rollouts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years actuarial experience, including management.
• FSA designation (Society of Actuaries).
• Ability to research and generate creative pricing solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration with actuarial and non-actuarial partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing initiatives for DCLI institutional products and oversee pricing activities.
• Partner with Product to price new offerings and manage implementation.
• Stay current with regulatory changes affecting pricing and risk governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance competitiveness, profitability and risk.
