Job summary

PUSH, Inc in Harmony, MN is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install underground fiber and utility conduits. You will operate HDD equipment, read prints, and mentor crew members on site.

Experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas is required; a valid CDL is mandatory and you must pass pre-employment screenings. The role is 100% field work, with safety trainings and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics and train/mentor other team members.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operates construction equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to conform to grade alignment specs.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customer.
• Abide safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
