Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber, copper, and power cables using HDD methods. Must have HDD experience around utilities in rural and urban areas, plus the ability to train and mentor others.

PUSH, Inc is a privately owned contractor offering field operations across various locations. The role requires outdoor work, safety compliance, and teamwork to deliver projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Familiar with different scale Vermeer or Ditch Witch units and locating tools.
• Ability to read prints, schematics and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for underground cable/conduit installation.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Abide safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and perform routine servicing.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all job aspects including basic labor tasks.
• Set up and clean up the work site including traffic control.
