Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber, copper, and power cables using trenchless HDD methods. Must read prints/schematics and mentor team members. Outdoor work in urban and rural settings, travel required.

Candidate will operate bore equipment, ensure alignment, maintain plots, and follow safety guidelines. CDL class A required; competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Reading prints and schematics.
• Ground conditions for drilling/boring.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Abide safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment including routine lubrication and minor repairs.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with basic labor responsibilities.
• Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control.
