Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber, copper, and power cables using HDD trenchless methods. You will operate bore equipment, read prints/schematics, and mentor teammates while ensuring safe, efficient job execution in various environments.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, data collection, and coordinating site setup and traffic control. Candidates must have HDD experience and be willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics for job setup and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cables and utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job prep and projections.
• Operate equipment to align and adjust machinery to conform to grade specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain all equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
