Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber, copper, coaxial, and power cables using trenchless HDD methods. Must read prints/schematics and mentor team members. Strong field presence in rural and urban settings is required.

This full-time role involves equipment operation, site setup/cleanup, safety compliance, and ongoing maintenance of HDD rigs. Travel and extended away-from-home assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read utility prints and schematics.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Experience training and mentoring other crew members.

Responsibilities

• Operates HDD equipment for underground cable/conduit installation.
• Ensure proper steering and alignment according to plans.
• Maintain bore profiles and provide drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with basic labor and site setup/cleanup including traffic control.
