Job summary

Friendship Community Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the weekend team at Valley Housing Dover in Dover, AR. This role supports clients in daily living activities within home and community settings as part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will assist with personal care, meals, budgeting, transportation, documentation, and participate in planned activities while following safety and HIPAA guidelines.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with showers, dressing, housekeeping, meals, and budgeting.
• Provides transportation to activities and appointments as needed.
• Maintains documentation: care plans, progress notes, and required forms.
• Follows medication management guidelines and safety procedures.
• Engages clients in recreational activities and supports health, safety, and security.
