Friendship Community Care, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional for part-time weekend shifts in Russellville, AR. The role focuses on assisting clients with daily living tasks, transportation, documentation, and activities in a safe home and community setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years with developmentally disabled individuals, and a valid driver’s license. You will work on an interdisciplinary team, maintain records, and follow HIPAA and confidentiality

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; two+ years with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license for transportation duties.
Ability to read, write, and present information to customers, clients and staff.
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to handle physical tasks in daily care.

Responsabilités

Assist clients with daily living tasks (showering, dressing, housekeeping, meals, budgeting).
Provide transportation to activities/appointments with a valid Arkansas license.
Maintain communication via logbooks and staff meetings about client needs and progress.
Complete required documentation (reports, forms, progress notes, logs).
Follow medication guidelines and monitor procedures as needed.
Organize and lead recreational activities for clients.
Support Plan of Care to prioritize health, safety and security.
