Venture-Community-Service seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily care, supervision and safety for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Responsibilities include health monitoring, safety checks, and assisting with daily living tasks on a rotating schedule.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISP and behavioral plans, documentation, and coordination with the Residential House Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D. required.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required) and be available by telephone for daily contact.

Responsabilités

• Monitor individuals for health and safety.
• Safely evacuate individuals from residence in the event of fire or disaster.
• Physically assist individuals, transfers and carries.
• Educate, supervise and monitor individual self-medication programs.
• Maintain daily records and data.
