Gateways to Change, Inc. is a non-profit agency serving adults with developmental and physical disabilities in residential and community settings.

We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Workers to help individuals acquire and maintain daily living and socialization skills. Responsibilities include in-home and community-based support, assisting with goals, transporting to appointments, helping with hygiene, medication administration, and promoting safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and existing insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Home and Community Based support to individuals.
• Assist individuals with achieving a variety of goals in the home and local community.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities.
• Assist in toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Administration of medication.
• Cultivate safe and supportive relationships.
• Be creative, organized, and efficient.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring fun to the job.
• Working independently and with staff.
