Gateways to Change, Inc. is seeking dedicated Direct Support Workers to help adults with developmental and physical disabilities in home and community settings. You will support daily living and socialization, work across shifts, and contribute to goal achievement in the individuals' environments.

The role emphasizes independence, compassionate communication, and patience in a fast-paced setting. Training and benefits are provided for full-time, part-time, and substitute positions across Rhode

• Must have a valid driver's license and existing insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Must provide a criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Home and Community Based support to individuals.
• Assist individuals with achieving a variety of goals in the home and local community.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities.
• Assist in toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Administration of medication.
• Cultivate safe and supportive relationships.
• Be creative, organized, and efficient.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring fun to the job.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Direct Support Workers who are striving to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Help individuals acquire and maintain skills to improve their daily-living, and socialization skills.
