Hope-Haven-Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist clients with intellectual or mental health needs. You'll provide daily support, implement service plans, and promote safety. The role requires empathy, reliability, and adherence to documentation and training standards.

You will help clients with activities, transportation, and appointments, while maintaining accurate logs and ensuring safety in all interactions. A valid driver's license and background checks are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED/HSED is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with basic computer use.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and complete required training.
• Valid Class C driver’s license is required and reliable transportation.
• Successful background checks as per service standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and training according to each client's service plan.
• Teach self-control and self-management per departmental training.
• Complete client logs and charts within 24 hours with supervisor approval.
• Assist clients with daily activities scheduled to meet individual needs.
• Arrange appointments and transportation with proper documentation.
• Promote safety and follow all safety procedures.
