Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a Sevita company, seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered support in residential settings in Arlington, TX. This is a non-exempt, hourly role with full-time or part-time hours.

You will assist individuals with daily living activities, health maintenance, medications, transport, and social integration while documenting progress and staying within the program plans. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Six months of experience in human services preferred

Must be 18 years of age

Working knowledge of computers
