Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with disabilities to live more independently in residential settings. You will implement person-centered plans, assist with daily living activities, monitor health and wellbeing, document progress, and support community integration.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support per service plans, including socialization and skill development.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community integration.
• Accurately document progress and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Maintain healthy relationships with individuals and families while following policies.
