Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of Sevita, provides direct support in residential settings to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, health maintenance, and medication administration, within person-centered service plans.

The position offers hourly pay at $15.00 and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for prior human services experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately document progress and activity; review records and logs to stay abreast of changes in service plans; maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain confidentiality, respect rights, and follow Sevita policies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months of experience in human services

Must be 18 years of age

Working knowledge of computers
