Job summary

Bridge of Promise in Kent, WA, seeks Direct Support Staff to assist adults with developmental disabilities in engaging in recreational, educational, and social activities while providing individualized support.

You will assist with daily living tasks, accompany participants on outings, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Minimum age 18, English proficiency, background checks required; CPR/First Aid or employer training willingness; driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain through employer training.
• Background checks (Washington State and Federal) must be passable.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide direct support for recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Escort participants to and from the program and during community outings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the day.
